Southern Weddings

Using medium format and 35mm film in addition to digital, I capture a wedding day as it beautifully unfolds. I wholeheartedly believe that your wedding photos should be as unique as your love, your story, and your wedding. I approach every wedding with the same foundation of knowledge and experience, but with a different perspective that is customized to each individual couple. Although every wedding is unique, my goal is always the same: to create beautiful images that stand the test of time and to give my clients an exceptional experience. I do this by providing my professional expertise, education, and going above and beyond in any way possible for my couples. I work with my clients throughout their engagement to ensure that we get the best wedding photos possible!

How I got into weddings: I started taking photos for fun when I was a teenager. I shot my first wedding at 19 and simply have not stopped since! 6 years and over 100 weddings later, I love weddings more today than ever!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The hospitality! No one treats their guests (and vendors) better than Southern couples. Also, the oak trees and Spanish moss, quaint historic architecture, and the warm weather that allows us to shoot outdoors almost year round.
Favorite part of a wedding day? The first look! It always brings tears to my eye!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Focus more on your marriage than you do the wedding, and everything else will fall into place.
Dream travel destination? Alaska
Favorite Southern city? Savannah!
Early bird or night owl? Neither… I just love to sleep.
Favorite pie flavor? Pecan! Oh yaaasss. I make a mean bourbon maple pecan pie.
Favorite biscuit topping? Butter is my answer. Butter is always the answer.
