Where you call home: New York
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: I was chosen as one of the top 10 designers to watch for 2015 by Stationery Trends Magazine. I have worked with a few celebrites: Demetria Lucas of Blood Sweat and Heels, Neyo and his fiance, Oprah’s O Magazine, GOOP+Valentino’s pop up shop, Hannah Bronfman and her fiancé, and soon-to-be Mrs. Shawn Johnson. The most exciting project of 2016 is my font–I am creating my own font that will be sold worldwide!
How I got into weddings: I kind of just fell into it. I started as a graphic designer who practiced calligraphy as a hobby, and one day, I decided to turn that hobby into a side business on Etsy. After a few months, I decided to get a booth at the National Stationery Show in New York City, where I made my commercial/wholesale debut in the stationery industry. It was there that my first wedding clients found me, and I slowly started expanding. I think my big break was when Kleinfeld made me one of their official calligraphers!
