We are a husband and wife photography team, and working and photographing together is our passion. We believe in love, and in fact we recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary! We have been photographing weddings together for over ten years. We think that each wedding is a new day to be able to create something unique and memorable for those that we’re privileged to photograph. Of the team, Lindsey is the patient photojournalist, while John is the fashion-forward image-maker. Together, our perspectives marry storytelling with style for a very complete documentation of the wedding day. For us, its all about relationships… All of the Pinterest and cool details in the world aren’t as important to us as bringing the best out of each bride + groom and giving them amazing images to be a part of their family’s legacy.

How you got into weddings: John and I love every wedding day! John has a BFA in Photography and studied Art/Photography in France. We started (as many others do), by photographing weddings for friends. We soon fell in love with weddings, and enjoy being able to do many different genres of photography throughout the day. From reportage, to portraiture, to landscapes, it’s awesome to be able to photograph such a broad range of things in one single day! Truly, we love capturing the joy and excitement of each wedding.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South:Weddings in the South always seem to have a classic and timeless feel that fits with our style and personalities perfectly. I’m a Southern girl, and John (though originally from out West) is even saying “y’all” occasionally now…
Favorite part of a wedding day: (From Lindsey) I absolutely love the moment where the bride walks down the aisle to her groom. I never fail to tear up! (From John) When the couple is “pronounced” as husband and wife…it makes it all so official! Then they walk out together, and the emotion on their faces is such a great combination of joy and excitement. I can still remember that moment myself, and how I was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t even speak!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms: To enjoy every moment of your wedding day. You will be reliving it all for years to come!
Dream travel destination: Provence, France. We lived there for a time, and would go back in a heartbeat.
Favorite Southern city: (FromLindsey) Charleston. (From John) Atlanta.
Early bird or night owl: Night Owls. Well, we used to be….now with two kids, we’re turning into early birds!
Pie bar or red velvet cake: (From John) Red Velvet Cake all of the way. It was the first thing I ever made for Lindsey!
Pottery Barn or Anthropologie: Anthropologie! We go there often for design inspiration!
Succulents or peonies? Peonies! We used to have them growing in our yard (ahem) until John accidentally mowed over that patch!
