Alexa’s photos somehow manage to be colorful and happy, and beautiful and intimate — at the same time. She has such a good understanding of what couples are most looking for during their engagement and on the day of their wedding that we have no doubt working with her is a seamless experience!

Hi, I’m Alexa of Alexa’s Photography! I love photographing weddings and pride myself in giving you photographs that reflect your personality and relationship! Are you fun and silly? Or serious and romantic? Was it love at first sight or did you fall for him after years of friendship? Whatever your story is, I want you to look back at your photos and say “that’s so us!” I’ll help you plan your engagement session to feature your love story in beautiful, colorful photographs and shoot your wedding quietly and unobtrusively to really capture your wedding day as it happens!

Where you call home: Greensboro, North Carolina
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: I am so proud of the photos I’ve had featured online and in magazines, but the thing that makes my heart swell the most is when my couples are thrilled with their photographs and write or call to tell me so.
Location/coverage: North Carolina and available for travel!
How I got into weddings: Weddings are such a blast to photograph! I love that every couple is different, every family is different, and that makes every wedding unique! I get to cover everything from details, to portraits, to once-in-a-lifetime moments all in one day. It’s my dream job!
Dream travel destination? Spain! Part of my dating relationship with my husband was spent while he was in Spain and I was in California. I would love to visit and see all the places that he always talks about!
Favorite Southern city? I would have to go with Pawley’s Island, South Carolina! My family vacationed with our grandparents at Pawley’s Island every October growing up. I have such good memories of that beach!
Early bird or night owl? Early bird for sure!
Pie bar or red velvet cake? Yum… pie! Peanut butter pie is my favorite.
Succulents or peonies? Peonies! Though succulents have been one of the few things to survive my less-than-green thumb.
