Are y’all tuckered out from fireworks, cook outs and corn hole like I am? The Southern Weddings gals celebrated the Fourth of July the best we know how and loved being able to share the joy with y’all through our very first newsletter! If you haven’t yet, but sure to sign up here to receive fun sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes and exclusive promotions.

This week’s Southern Delicacy had all of our tummies growling! Just a warning: this one rates 10 out of 10 on the dangerously appetizing scale! Read all about hummingbird cake and how it got its name here.

Now that July is in full swing, we’re looking forward to this month’s #SouthernDoin’s! Participate with us and snap a photo of something red, white and blue.

Blaine + Mike’s all-American engagement session was the perfect fit for this week. We adore that their shared love of baseball was included in this sweet session!

Real Weddings take the cake!

Julie + Shane’s ranch wedding boasted gorgeous scenery but sweeter traditions. See it here.

Congratulations to Alix, who won the Speak Wedding flashcards from last week’s giveaway! Be on the lookout for more fun giveaways!

Before y’all head out for more July fun, be sure to stop by our Facebook Friday with Nolan Photography!

Howdy, y’all! We’ve spent a good amount of time this week giggling over outtakes from our very first Instagram videos. Haven’t turned into Southern Weddings TV yet? Take a look here. In between our video updates, we did do some actual work.

Emily gave some expert advice on budgeting for your wedding with regards to your priorities and your circumstances.

We’re in love with this polo-inspired eye-candy set in the most romantic of Southern settings.

We’re so tickled pink by the cute goodies in the Southern Weddings Shop that we had to have a sale! Get 15% off pink prints and our enclosure cards before July 8.

Real weddings turn our hearts aflutter!

Casey + Anthony’s Florida wedding combined the best of their favorite Southern locales. See it here.

Katrina + Tyler’s barn wedding combined each family’s ideas and a ton of handmade details. See it here.

Britt + Brad’s lakeside wedding was a fun nautically-inspired bash with modern details and a great love story. See it here.

Laura + Shannon’s seaside wedding brought a beachy laid back feel to a romantic and elegant big day. See it here.

Before y’all head out for some weekend adventures, make sure you stop by our Facebook Friday for something sweet from Love is a Big Deal.

Let’s also wish all the guys and gals saying “I do” this weekend the biggest congratulations, including our Southern Bride Bloggers Ryann and Kaylia!

Lovely photos. The “polo” wedding with the horse behind is beautiful, the bright yellow on the bridesmaids dresses so full of life. Totally real weddings, natural and capturing the happiness of the moment.

Is it really Friday, y’all? This week flew by with Lara and Emily at engage!13 Biltmore, PowerSheet Set orders flying out the door and new shop goodies coming in. I’m ready for a quiet weekend in after weeks of traveling and getaways.

Monday began with a post that made my mouth water. Marissa told us all about our favorite fried green tomatoes in our Southern Delicacy column.

We may be taking a short break from V6 shoots in June, but that doesn’t mean we’re not prepping for a few in July! Want to be a part of our features? We hope to see you join us in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, as a reader model! See this post for details.

I’m back from the National Stationery Show and I have so much to show you, belles and beaus! Check out my recap of the cutest new designs from stationers across the country. (Part 1 here, Part 2 here.)

Of course, there were way too many fun paper goodies to share in one way. Yesterday, I was back with the final posts in my NSS recap! (Part 3 here, Part 4 here.)

Real Weddings are sweeter than pie!
