Among my plans this weekend are eating barbecue, watching a movie in the park with my boyfriend, and trying the very first berry from my strawberry plants! (I’ll admit, I had a few berries before, but they shriveled up before I could try them. Not the best example of my green thumb.) What are y’all doing this weekend?

This week we tackled an etiquette question that just might be our most-asked one! Read up on how to mix navy and black in your bridesmaids and groomsmen.

June’s Southern Bride of the Month, Jordan has a contagious excitement for her big day! Be sure to read all about her white and green Highlands wedding and answer her big question!

Real Weddings are the sugar in our tea!

Allison + Andrew’s simple Georgia wedding boasted sweet photos and hydrangeas galore! See it here.

I’m loving the fact that planning is bringing me closer to everyone I love – my fiance, my mother, my sister (it’s been a long time coming!), my future-mother-in-law/sister-in-law, and all of my bridesmaids. It’s been such a great excuse to be in much more constant, and special, contact with everyone!!

I love the fact, that through all of this, the ending result will be me married to the man of my dreams. I have dreamed of this moment for so long and it is so close! Most people get are scared of the end, I couldn’t be happier. This is an end that will have a new magical beginning!

I’m having a small wedding, so my favorite part of wedding planning is considering all the small details and how those details will really ensure my guests feel loved and welcome at our wedding. We wanted to make sure everything we do lets our guests know how important they all are to us and how thankful we are that they could be a part of our wedding!

My favorite part about wedding planning is the strong bond we are forming with our families. My fiancé’s family is helping to create DIY invitations (they are very crafty!) and my family is growing flowers in their yard for our bouquets! It makes me melt to see how eager and helpful our families are with the many wedding details. It’s making the experience much more fun and much less stressful!
PS – those Speak Wedding flashcards would be a perfect game for a bridal shower!

My favorite part about the wedding planning process is being able to get together with my family and my fiancé’s family and listening to all of there ideas, excitement and traditions about our families weddings. It such a blessing to come together this way

Is it really Friday, y’all? This week flew by with Lara and Emily at engage!13 Biltmore, PowerSheet Set orders flying out the door and new shop goodies coming in. I’m ready for a quiet weekend in after weeks of traveling and getaways.

Monday began with a post that made my mouth water. Marissa told us all about our favorite fried green tomatoes in our Southern Delicacy column.

Of course, there were way too many fun paper goodies to share in one way. Yesterday, I was back with the final posts in my NSS recap! (Part 3 here, Part 4 here.)

We’re all still pretty sore from our very first V6 photo shoot on Wednesday! We can’t give too much away yet (though our Instagram was full of teeny sneak peeks!), but we had a ton of fun with Katie Stoops. There’s still some cleanup to do in the office, along with finding the source of a mysterious frosting smell, to do next week before our next shoot!

This week’s Southern Spotting was lovely, indeed. However, the story behind this bride’s lace necklace is so heartfelt and sentimental!

Mother’s Day is coming up soon and we’re all in need of some gift ideas. We think our South prints, steeped in love and letterpressed on luxurious cotton stock, are perfect! Take a look at all three colors in our shop.

Real weddings make us swoon!

Ashley + David’s “I do’s” were full of lovely details and some killer dance moves, but the one thing that really stands out is their sweet and intimate love. See it here.

Claudia + Brad’s organic and outdoor wedding put a smile on our face and a calmness in our hearts. See it here.

Sophie + Brian’s Kentucky wedding was inspired by their love of their Southern home and the hospitality of Kentucky. See it here.

Vanessa + Jonathan’s Derby-inspired wedding was full of fun Southern touches and traditions. See it here.

Be sure to stop by our Facebook Friday! Michelle Renee Photography shares an engagement session that you’ll feast your eyes on!

Happy weekend, my dears!
