V4 Social Media Madness + HUGE Photo Contest

So you might have heard that Southern Weddings V4 hit newsstands nationwide, and you might have heard we’re running a HUGE photo contest. We’ll let me tell you, we’ve been getting some super fun entries! (I’m especially fond of Betsy + Ashley from Ashley Brooke Designs’ entry below)!

Yes ma’am, that is V4 at The Swamp for a Gator game (Boo! Okay, I digress!) and having a tea party! It’s not just our Twitter stream that’s been blowing up with V4 fun; our Facebook fans have been getting in on the action, too!

Think you’ve got what it takes to win this contest? Put on your thinking cap and get creative! Entries are due November 25. We’ll post our favorites and then vote on a winner that week! Remember there are only two rules: you have to tweet your pic(s) to us (@iloveswmag) and then email the same to howdy at iloveswmag.com with the subject line “V4 Photo Contest.” We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Today’s the Day! V4 Has Released + HUGE Photo Contest!

It’s that time again, ladies and gents! The cat’s out of the bag about our cover and shiny copies of V4 are popping up on newsstands everywhere, so dust off your camera or iPhone and get ready to snap a shot of you and your brand new SW!

In a box, with a fox, in a house, with a mouse, here or there, or anywhere… the location is up to you! Perhaps you and your SW would like to travel to a cotton plantation? To the top of the Empire State building? To the beach in Miami? The peak of a mountain in Maine? To a BBQ joint in Texas? Or maybe your SW wants to be photographed with someone fun — your Momma, your baby, your pug, your best friends, your bridal party?

Whatever you choose, we want it to be creative! Entries are due November 25, one month from today. We’ll post our favorites and then vote on a winner that week! Two rules: you have to tweet your pic(s) to us (@iloveswmag) and then email the same to howdy at iloveswmag.com with the subject line “V4 Photo Contest.”

A prize, you say? Oh yes, there will be prizes — multiple prizes. We are still ironing out the details, but five winners will get to choose from a bevy of fabulous goods!! These pretties will appeal to brides, newlyweds, and vendors alike, so don’t delay! We can’t wait to see what y’all come up with!

Reminder: SW V3 Photo Contest!

Since V3 was our biggest + best issue yet, we had to come up with an equally awesome giveaway. (Pretty tough billing, I know.) I think we succeeded, however, with our MEGA Photo Contest.

For all you late-comers who missed the first announcement: y’all have until November 5 to send us a photo of you with SW V3. The more creative the better! There are only two rules: you have to tweet your pic(s) to us (@iloveswmag), and then email it/them to Whitney (whitney at iloveswmag dot com). We’ll feature our favorite submissions on the blog and then vote on them later that week. Simple, right?

What makes this our best (MEGA!) photo contest yet? The prizes, naturally! The winner will get to choose one of four prizes:

1. 10 copies of SW V3 for you + your friends;
2. An ad on the brand new SW site (launching soon!) if you are a vendor;
3. An iPod Nano; or
4. Bragging rights, and a feature right here on the blog!

Told ‘ya it was awesome.
