If you’d consider yourself a Southern sophisticate and have been searching for a twist on the ubiquitous blush-and-gold wedding palette, today’s inspiration is for you! The team at Two Be Wed added grey, black, and blackberry to everyone’s favorite blush, then swapped out yellow gold for its rosy sister. Paired with a stunning gray gown, a striking black wedding cake, and a couple that looks happier than a pup with two tails, Mustard Seed’s photos are making me smile on this Wednesday.

And one note about that handsome horse. He might seem a little whimsical and inspiration shoot-y, but we have had so many real wedding brides write us about how they incorporated their beloved horses into their wedding days – Molly, for one! With so many current or former farm girls in our ranks, it’s only natural that horses would pop up now and again in the weddings we feature!

From the ladies of Two Be Wed:

Inspired by the monotone invitation suite by Wedding Paper Divas, our moody palette consisted of shades of grey, black, blush, blackberry and touches of rose gold. Embellishing on the wildness of nature, Blush and Vine kept the blooms loose, romantic, and overflowing with greenery. Delicate modern details throughout included the timeless tablescape featuring Casa de Perrin china, flatware and glassware; custom rose gold monogram; and the epic noir cake created by Sugary and Chic Cake Boutique. The Marchesa Couture gown moved effortlessly through the Texas countryside and paired beautifully with a sleek grey suit. Finally, our tall, dark, and handsome stallion helped set the overall theme: peaceful and wild, both at the same time.

Great idea! I may have already had the honeymoon (St. Lucia–it was beautiful!) but I am definitely going to be keeping the Honey List in mind for future romantic getaways. Is it too soon to plan a second honeymoon?
