I can’t say enough about how much I LOVE this wedding! Joel of {Joel Flory Photography} explained that the trend he sees as in his area is for a couple to hold an elegant dinner for a reception with no band, no dancing and no cake. This creates a very intimate atmosphere where close family and friends can really share each other’s company. More from photographer Joel on this wedding celebration: “Loralie and Kevin are such an amazing couple and Cara and I had such a blast photographing their wedding. Kathryn of {Dream a Little Dream Events} did such a great job planning the wedding that even when we were hit with a little rain, things went off without a hitch. As always {Natalie Bowen} provided flowers that were simply stunning. Loralie and Kevin got ready at {Hotel Vitale} and then we headed down to the {Ferry Building} and they had some wine and oysters at the {Hog Island Osyter Company}. They had an amazing roof top ceremony at the {Art Institute} and then an intimate dinner reception at {Florio}.” To see all of Joel and team’s photos from the wedding day check out their {Album} and beautiful {BLOG}. Happy Tuesday, y’all! 4 days till the big ATL par-tay!
Oh, and…. How GORGEOUS is Loralie’s dress!? Hello!
Tell us about finding your dress: It was custom-made by Joyce Hittelsdorf. She has a small studio in Carmel, Indiana called {Something Wonderful}. When I couldn’t find anything that I loved in the stores, Joyce worked with me to put together a gown that had all of the elements I was looking for: right color, right fabrics, right fit.
Congratulations to Loralie + Kevin. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
That rooftop is an amazing ceremony location!…but what on earth is that box with the pylons??
The photos, dress, and rich burgundy florals are so lovely!!!

Tanya, their ceremony was at the San Francisco Art Institute and all around the facility there are different art installations. If you head over to our blog you can see more of the photos that I took around the site.
