We joked to friends that our marriage counseling was watching the show Parenthood and discussing it after each episode. But our real marriage counseling was spending a lot of time with married couples that we respect and look up to. Marriage means different things and looks differently for each couple and we wanted to be sure to make this about us and not anyone else.
