Google+ Southern Weddings Weekly Round-Up - Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings

Y’all, it’s June!! Is it just me, or did May completely fly by? As you read in our June newsletter (sign up here if you missed it!), we have some pretty exciting things coming up this month, including editorial shoots in two of our favorite Southern cities. We’re still looking for a bride and groom and a few groomsmen readers to model for us in Nashville, so if you, your beau, or a friend is interested, email [email protected] with your height and a few headshots and candid photos. We’d love to see you there!

In case you missed it this week…

We’re ready for Belmont Stakes, thanks to this supper club inspiration.
We introduced some of our newest Blue Ribbon Vendors!
We took a tour of Erin Napier’s seriously amazing Mississippi home in Southern Newlywed.

Megan and Barnett chose two sentimental venues for their jewel-toned Alabama wedding.
Lauren and Jared‘s classic wedding was full of Southern details, especially monograms!
We all fell in love with Caitlan and BJ‘s adorable interview, and her gorgeous sparkly gown.
Toree and Forrest did a beautiful job of celebrating their families and love story at their Tennessee wedding.

On Southern Living:

We shared a few tips for understanding common wedding dress codes.

Take note!

As you may have seen on Instagram this week, we’re hosting a Pinterest contest with out friends at High Cotton Ties! There’s one more week to create your “A High Cotton Southern Wedding” board and we can’t wait to see what y’all come up with. You can follow Southern Weddings on Pinterest here and High Cotton here!

North Carolina brides! The O. Henry Hotel in Greensboro (one of our delightful Blue Ribbon Vendors!) is hosting a Southern Living Wedding Workshop on October 5, which will include afternoon tea and lots of ideas and inspiration. More information, including how to register, can be found here!

Have a delightful weekend!
