Samantha + Nick in Apopka, FL   I wish there was sound with this picture.  I have no idea what’s going on, but it looks like a ton of fun!

Melody + Jack in Carillion Beach, FL      How adorable are these bridesmaids?!?  The combination of their sky blue dresses, GORGEOUS flowers, and stunning smiles is just perfect.

This cake is really lovely… hopefully we will get a credit on this one soon so everyone knows who created this sweet and simple confection.

Mia + Alex in Naples, FL     I can’t get enough of their flowers.  This radiant couple chose beautiful textures and hues for their seaside ceremony.

Colleen + Alex on Amelia Island, FL     Oh-so-southern!  I looove the length of her dress, the warm vibe of the house, the moss on the towering oaks, and everything about these shots.  Congrats Colleen + Alex!

Brandy + Albert in Carillion Beach, FL     This is one seriously stylish couple.  And kudos to any bride who gets the pleasure of telling her bridesmaids that they don’t have to squeeze their pretty little feet into uncomfortable shoes!  They all look so relaxed and happy with their toes in the soft sand.  The colors in Brandy’s bouquet really pop–I love the gloriosa lilies!  And how about the tables topped with towers of white phaeleanopsis orchids?  Lucky guests.

Brooke + Jeff in Fort Meyers, FL    I love the last image of Brooke and Jeff because I can just imagine what they are thinking.  There is a special moment after every wedding when the couple says to themselves and to each other “Wow, we are really MARRIED!”  It’s a wonderful moment of realization.  You look at your new husband and wife and (sometimes in a little bit of disbelief because the thought is so huge) see them as exactly that–your future, your eternity.  Beautiful images.

For more of Paul’s work visit {www.pauljohnsonphoto.com}.  And as always, if you are a vendor who has worked on one of our featured weddings, please email us so we can let everyone know who did the fabulous work!  Have a wonderful Sunday ~Lara, Publisher, SWS~

Hello Wonderful Southern Style Magazine!Wow, what an honor to be featured on your blog today. I do have to agree that Carillon Beach is one fabulous venue! I have to say that right here in our back yard are a few of the absolute best wedding venues I have been to. Paul and I travel frequently and have seen many venues! Carillon Weddings knows how to plan a breathtaking wedding. Debra with Confections on the Coast is the baker and I can say first hand that the art she makes is creme de la creme and the cakes taste as good as they look, the best I have ever had! She is moving to Atlanta, so all of you Atlanta Brides get ready, call me if you want to look her up! She will leave a protoche here in Florida though, so don’t cry if you are having your wedding here. The florist, of my the florist! On our coast we have several amazing florist! I am most certain the florist’s work you are gushing over is Nouveau Florist, out of Grayton Beach Florida.A few of the weddings you are showing were in other venues in South Florida like, The Ritz Carlton, or in Amelia Island.Thank you again!

Paul Johnson’s photography is so magical! That photo of the groomsmen on the fence has been one of my favorites since he posted it. I would love to know also what was going on. :)
